WebCANALS INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS POLICY (IPR)

1. IPR REQUIREMENT

Owners of websites registered in www.webcanals.com are required not to infringe other persons Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) in their registered website.
WebCANALS reserves the right to terminate business relation with any website against which more than two infringement claims have been raised within any 12 months period, regardless of the outcome of the IPR complaints.

2. DOCUMENTATION

In case of infringement, the complainant must provide WebCANALS with all relevant documentation in order to enable WebCANALS to proceed adequately with the alleged infringement complaint. These include (but are not limited to): The Registered Patent Number, Registered Trademark number, item photos (if applicable), and any other document that WebCANALS at its sole appreciation may find necessary to conduct a thorough investigation to ascertain the validity of the claims arise by the complainant.
All documentations provided by the complainant must be valid, applicable, sufficient, and also signed.

3. IMPARTIALLITY

WebCANALS cannot take a final legal decision regarding the validity of an IPR complaint. Therefore, upon receiving an IPR infringement complaint, WebCANALS will firstly endeavor to evaluate the validity of the alleged infringement claim.
If the documents supporting the infringement claim are valid, applicable, signed and sufficient, WebCANALS will advise the concerned website owner/company by transferring the IP complaint proofs to the website owner or company.
Should the alleged infringer be unable to satisfactorily rebut the infringement complaint within 5 working days, WebCANALS will delete the infringing content reported by the complainant.
Depending on the objectivity and applicability of the documents submitted to WebCANALS, prior to a final legal settlement, WebCANALS may (or may not) suspend displaying the alleged infringing content.

4. INDEMNITY

WebCANALS is not legally mandated to verify other websites actions in regard with IPR infringements. By requiring WebCANALS to take actions against a website, the complainant agrees to indemnify and held WebCANALS harmless against any damage arising from WebCANALS actions to respond to the complainant requirements.
